We are value investors. We invest primarily in common stocks of mid to large sized U.S. based companies that are well managed, financially sound, and leaders in their markets. Accounts are managed for clients seeking unbiased, fee-based investment management whose primary goal is long-term appreciation of capital.

Successful business endeavors require certain elements to profitably produce products or services that are useful and in demand, and cannot be easily replicated. The primary elements needed are ideas, financial strength, discipline, capital, and management. I look for companies that utilize these elements effectively to produce superior profit growth. Because I have over 30 years of experience in investing and financial disciplines, and draw from some of the best resources available, I believe I have an advantage in identifying attractive investment opportunities.

Market are emotional and focus on the short term, overreacting to positive and negative news. These reactions present buying opportunities. My investment decisions are made for long term growth. I select investments when their market valuations are well below my assessment of their intrinsic business values. Capital is concentrated in my best ideas. I believe this reduces risk and increases returns.

My interests are aligned with yours. I invest in securities that are also purchased for your account, and my fees are based solely on the value of your managed assets.
